Carts on Foster is taking part in Portland BLT Week!
Both the Bari PDX Food Cart and the Pod Bar Food Cart are official Portland BLT Week participants.
Chef Walter with the Bari PDX Food Cart has put together a very, very good BLT Panzerotto for Portland BLT Week 2019 made with fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes, green pepperoncinis, and bacon. The Pod Bar Food Cart always has great craft beer on tap and this week they have the official beer of Portland BLT Week on tap – Pono Brewing’s OPPA Oatmeal Pale Ale.
The Pod Bar also has a special bacon centric item available this week and this dish was inspired by Portland BLT Week. Here is the story!
The secret menu at the Pod Bar Food Cart includes a Pimiento Cheese Dog – an all-beef hot dog served with their decadent cart-made Pimiento Cheese.
Steve Woolard – Founder of the Pod Bar Food Cart as taken their Pimiento Cheese Dog one step further and added BACON to it!
You read that right! During Portland BLT Week you can get a Bacon Pimiento Cheese Hot Dog at the Pod Bar Food Cart!
